The High Point community is mourning the tragic loss of Xavier Martin, 46, who died in the early morning hours of June 5, 2026, following a violent altercation that occurred at a residence on Bethel Drive.

According to investigators, the incident began after a dispute involving a loose dog escalated into a confrontation between individuals who were known to one another. Authorities reported that Xavier Martin suffered a serious stab wound during the altercation, which ultimately proved fatal.
