According to the Greensboro Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. near the intersection of Freeman Mill Road and Coliseum Boulevard.

Investigators reported that Jordan was stopped at a traffic signal on Freeman Mill Road when her vehicle was struck from behind by a northbound vehicle. The force of the impact pushed her vehicle forward into other automobiles, triggering a chain-reaction collision involving multiple vehicles.
