PAULDING COUNTY, Ohio — Family, friends, and members of the Continental community are mourning the tragic loss of Sara Woodbright, 20, who died in a fatal traffic collision in Paulding County on Friday afternoon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 130 and State Route 637.

Investigators reported that Woodbright was driving a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle westbound on County Road 130 when she entered the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by a northbound Ford F-750 truck.

The impact forced both vehicles off the roadway and into a nearby guardrail. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and arrived quickly; however, Sara Woodbright sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and have not released additional details regarding contributing factors.
